Notes:
- Groceries were decent this month since I have been participating in Mr. CBB’s Grocery game, but I might increase the amount a bit for next year to reduce the amount of money spent eating out.
- We made changes to my phone plan which means we were hit with 2 phone bills this month. It should go back to normal next month.
- That work expense number sucks, doesn’t it? If only he did his expenses on a more timely basis.
- Got the rims for the winter tires just in time as we have been dumped on quite a bit these past few weeks.
This is the expected December spending plan.

Notes:
- Utilities are included in the rent as long as we keep our usage under $95 a month. So far so good! We also got in touch with our landlord, and I think we should be good for another 6 months or so, although we haven’t actually met up with him yet. He is DEFINITELY a hands-off kind of landlord.
- Internet service as well as his phone is a benefit provided by boy’s work, so it isn’t included in the expenses.
- My current share of the expected expenses is about 40%.
I will spend some time looking through our annual expenses to see how the year panned out. I don’t think the budget should change too much, but it is always good to do an annual check-up to make sure your expenditures line up with your priorities!
Thanks for reading!

Hey Vicky!
You guys did great this month and yes that work expense was a hit. Do you do any investing? If so where does that fit into your budget? That’s awesome I wish my employer paid for our internet too lol… Awesome with the groceries this month as well.. yay!! I thought of you when I was at Food Basics yesterday that Sariachi ( I know I just spelled that wrong) was on sale… and I thought, Oh Vicky would be all over that lol… keep at it mate. Mr.CBB

We do invest, but that isn’t really shown in the spending analysis. We have long-term and short term savings account for different goals that is above and beyond what is shown above. I know it isn’t as thorough as what yours is, but we’re not quite anonymous either.
How much was yours on sale for? I was running errands with my mom and grandma, and we found the large bottle for $2.19, so we stocked up (5 bottles b/w the 3 of us!)

I hear you on the work expenses! I’m so glad my boyfriend and I don’t share expenses (yet?) because he’s really bad at that too. I always do mine the day I get back from a trip.

I’m definitely that way to; get it done ASAP so my budget is aligned and reflects the actual situation. Even though I know the money is coming in, having the item in that budget still bugs me. I’m a little bit anal though, I know.
Thanks for dropping by!
